Nestled in the Scottish Borders is our little town, Peebles, a royal borough in Tweeddale. We’re located right on the high street so we’re in a prime location for you to get out and explore our town and it’s expanse of surrounding countryside.
Peebles is situated at the confluence between the River Tweed and Eddleston Water which makes us a popular location for a fishing break. Our location means we’re great for a variety of active experiences including, cycling, motorbiking, mountain biking, shooting, and golfing.
In 2014 our town was named Scotland’s most creative place of its size. We have four major festivals that take place, the Beltane Festival, Peebles Arts Festival, Tweedlove Bike Festival and Imaginarium. So however you decide to spend your time with at The Tontine Hotel, we’d recommended taking advantage of the areas natural, Scottish beauty, soak up the creative atmosphere, and enjoy how much our small town has to offer.
