2nd May 2011	4/5	The main part of the hotel, in particular the dining room, are extremely attractive and the food, drink and service are of an exceptionally high standard. My single room was small but adequate. But to get to it one had to make one's way through a maze of corridors which are long overdue for a lick of paint and this marred somewhat an experience that would otherwise have been exemplary.

27th April 2011	5/5	Really enjoyed my stay. Great location in the heart of the high street. Great service from friendly staff. The inclusive breakfast was first class. Overall fantastic value. Will be going back soon.

24th March 2011	5/5	Very nice atmosphere in the hotel we immediately felt comfortable. The staff is professional and the nightguard who let us in a helpful and friendly man, we had a little chat with him and he was interested and interesting. In the morning I had the best bacon in my life. Now I know how bacon is supposed to be. This was a short but pleasant stay. We really would like to coma again.
19th March 2011	5/5	Excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious and clean. Open fireplaces in dining room and lounge is very welcoming. Staff very friendly and the food is just the best. Best steak I have eaten in a long time. Oh, and you need to try the cocktails amazing !!!
7th March 2011	5/5	This has possibly been the best weekend we have ever had away as a family. from the minute we got there till we left we had a fantastic time. will definitely be returning to the Tontine!
2nd March 2011	4/5	Really enjoyable stay in a true scottish hotel in a great location. Only thing I could fault was that it was hard to get a good temperature in the shower,

The staff at the front desk were very helpful with providing us with places to eat during our stay. Since we were on the B&B breakfast option, the morning breakfast experience was great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and we were always full at the end. We would recommend to our friends and family the Tontine Hotel.

5th Jan 2011	5/5	Very enjoyable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was decorated and furnished very nicely, loved the lounge with its open fire it has a wonderful ambience about it. There is a good selection for breakfast of good quality and had a superb evening meal. Really good valve for money. Would recommend the Tontine and will be coming back.
